Our client is a well-established events and exhibitions organization specializing in high profile large scale events, exhibitions and trade shows across the Gulf region.
We are recruiting a GCC experienced sales manager from the events and exhibitions industry to join their Gulf operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing business development, sales and client retention strategies and go to market plans to achieve revenue growth targets.
Role Summary
Lead generation, prospecting, sales pitch, RFPs, negotiation and closing deals with exhibitors, sponsors and direct clients for events, exhibitions, trade shows and exhibition stand builds.
Collaborate with the marketing team on initiatives to build brand awareness and new business opportunities.
Coordinate with clients throughout the entire project life cycle to ensure clients\xe2\x80\x99 expectations are exceeded.
Team leadership \xe2\x80\x93 hiring, training and performance management to achieve sales targets.
Follow up on outstanding payments and collections.
Mandatory Skills & Experience
5 \xe2\x80\x93 10 years\xe2\x80\x99 GCC sales management experience in the events and exhibitions industry with a strong career history in winning new business and exceeding sales targets.
Technical knowledge about the construction of large scale exhibition stands and structures.
Strong commercial and financial acumen.
GCC driving license is mandatory.
Candidate Profile
Currently living in the Gulf region \xe2\x80\x93 must be able to live and work in Dubai, Riyadh or Doha.
Fluent in English.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills with the ability to develop and maintain long-lasting relationships with existing clients and exhibitors to build a strong pipeline of business through organic growth and referrals.
