Key Responsibilities
Carry out woodwork and carpentry tasks including furniture assembly and interior fit-out work
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and job specifications
Operate hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely and efficiently
Assemble, install, and repair wooden structures, fixtures, and furnishings
Ensure high-quality finishes and attention to detail in all carpentry work
Follow job timelines and adapt to changing project requirements
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow safety procedures and company standards on-site and in the workshop
Requirements
Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience as a carpenter in an interior fit-out or exhibition setup environment
Strong practical skills in furniture assembly, cutting, shaping, and fitting
Ability to read and work from blueprints or shop drawings
Familiarity with different types of wood, materials, and hardware materials
Proficiency in using carpentry tools and machinery
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good physical stamina and manual dexterity
Must be able to work under pressure and meet project deadlines
