The Chief Talent Officer Project Manager is a high-exposure role that leads the coordination and alignment of our CTO with our diverse Talent teams’ verticals and our Business Operations across ME&T. This role is responsible for streamlining high-level projects and conducting internal and external initiatives that have very significant impact on the organizations vision and objectives. Main tasks and responsibilities:
  • Operate at a tactical, strategic and operational level, handling the oversight of projects that do not neatly fit within Talent function or that fall between CTO, Talent team verticals or other areas of responsibility that fall within the remit of the CTO.
  • Assemble annual goals, measure progress and provide updates to CTO.
  • Develop presentations and communications.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, handling inquiries and developing action plans to address them, and assisting with the preparation and dissemination of communications.
  • Connect teams that are working on similar initiatives.
  • Support the CTO in day-to-day operations.
  • Proactively identify opportunities.
  • Improve current processes and coordinate organizational procedures for optimized efficiency and productivity.
  • Drive execution of action items and top priorities agreed upon by the CTO.
  • Own and continuously improve company operating cadence (e.g. CTO and executive team meetings, leadership offsites, quarterly OKRs reviews, Team meetings).
  • Support the productivity of meetings by owning the planning, agenda, notes and follow through.
  • Represent CTO in meetings, by email, and phone calls with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide Talent team vertical leaders with recommendations and consultation to improve teamwork across the team.
  • Distill discussions and thoughts from team meetings into plans and executions.
  • Additional responsibilities as periodically assigned.
Capabilities:
  • Executive level communication skills: Your written (including deck Development) and verbal communication is compelling and precise. You can quickly take complex concepts and communicate them briefly, simply and persuasivmely. You have the ability to develop decks and presentation that capture context of brief given, in a creative and dynamic end result.
  • Structured problem solving: Strategic thinking, in particular the ability to break complex problems down into component parts. The ability to lead on and enjoy both strategic and tactical work is key.
  • Analytical capability: You’re confident creating, scrutinizing and improving everything from project models to excel pivot tables.
  • Emotional intelligence and ability to establish strong and trusting relationships with colleagues.
  • Facilitation skills: You design thoughtful meeting processes/agendas and are skilled at chairing or facilitating meetings or sessions that make progress on high stakes discussions with senior stakeholders.
  • Executional excellence: You have the organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, high sense of responsibility, and generalist skill set to take on a wide range of high priority tasks in support of the CTO and Talent team. You are dependable, and always deliver quality work.
