Create unique baked goods based on client specifications
Ensure that the kitchen is clean at all times and meets all local health code requirements
Developing creative customized cakes upon request
Direct the creation and preparation of all pastry dishes and baked goods
Adhere to set recipes and taste test for quality assurance
Provide exquisite presentation and plating techniques
Ensure all pastries are uniform and up to standard
Perform quality checks of ingredients and throw out expired goods
Organize and store needed tools and materials (food or otherwise)
Maintain and count inventory and work towards cost reduction methods
Collaborate with head chef to create exciting new desserts that complement existing menu.
Perform any other business within the description scope; as instructed by the Head chef
Prepares and sells coffee drinks by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques for coffee drinks
Define new and expanded services and products.
Maintains inventories by replenishing coffee bean supply; stocking coffee brewing equipment; maintaining supplies, pastries, and cookies for coffee bar.
Requirements and Qualification.
The candidate should have at least 2 years’ experience as a pastry and bakery chef
Should have any culinary certification or relevant certification
Must be creative and should have an eye for detail.
Should have in depth knowledge of sanitation principles
Should be willing to learn.
Can follow detailed written or verbal instructions precisely
