JOB TITLE: Executive II - Business Development

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work as part of the prequalification team to assist with the co-ordination and participation in activities carried out by the business development department. This includes but is not limited to the preparation of the pre-qualifications, presentations, marketing support, as well as interfacing with clients, partners and other divisions of Petrofac as required.

Entry Level:
  • Developing knowledge about the business lines in Petrofac, as well as different departments and teams.
  • Utilizing knowledge gained to work on responses to expressions of interest, prequalifications, etc, for prospects in line with business capabilities and strategies; under the supervision and support of more experienced team members.
  • Assist in developing sales presentations and coordinating sales meetings; under the supervision and support of more experienced team members.
  • Support in maintaining quality and technical integrity of prequalifications, presentations and marketing documents.
  • Assist with maintaining and updating sales prospects on CRM as required.
  • Assist with maintaining and updating the sales database.
  • Assist in conducting Proposals co-ordination for specific prospects. This involves working closely with proposals staff under the direction of more experienced team members.
  • Participate in related exhibitions/conferences.
  • Coordination with branch offices as required.
  • Support as required with the group\xe2\x80\x99s marketing and corporate social responsibility activities.
Elevated Level:
  • Utilizing knowledge gained to work on responses to expressions of interest, prequalifications, etc, for prospects in line with business capabilities and strategies; with minimum direction and supervision.
  • Developing sales presentations and coordinating sales meetings in line with business needs.
  • Responsible for maintaining quality and technical integrity of prequalifications, presentations and marketing documents; as well as meeting deadlines of submissions to external and internal clients.
  • Assist with maintaining and updating sales prospects on CRM as required.
  • Assist with maintaining and updating the sales database.
  • Assist in conducting Proposals co-ordination for specific prospects. This involves working closely with proposals staff under the direction of the designated sales lead or proposal manager.
  • Support general sales and marketing coordination as directed by prequalification manager.
  • Carry out market research from internet and other sources as required to develop country and prospect specific market intelligence.
  • Where required, provide input to Tender Screening Forms and ensure compliance with the business development and proposals process
  • Participate in related exhibitions/conferences.
  • Coordination with branch offices as required.
  • Support as required with the group\xe2\x80\x99s marketing and corporate social responsibility activities.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
  • Relevant degree and 2-3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience for entry level position with general exposure to the business in home office and/or site.
  • Language skills and specific technical or country experience is an advantage.
