Job Description

Purpose: The job holder will be responsible for consolidating relevant management information, conducting comparative analysis, and compiling business performance reports for management decision making.

Key Criteria:

\xc3\xbc Graduate Degree in Finance/Advance Diploma in Computer Applications/MS Excel/Power BI

\xc3\xbc 3 \xe2\x80\x93 5 years of experience in Management Reporting and MIS Management

\xc3\xbc Knowledge of ERP Packages and Advanced Software / Reporting Applications

\xc3\xbc Knowledge of database design, connectivity, and complex querying

\xc3\xbc Knowledge of Accounting Standards and Practices (IFRS)

\xc3\xbc Statistical Tools knowledge

Key Accountabilities: -

MIS Generation
  • Compile relevant information from Concept / Corporate / Territories and generate MIS reports on a daily/weekly/monthly basis in the pre-designed format, relating to but not limited to:
  • Sales, Margins
  • Customers
  • Stocks, Inventory, Port Shipments, Distributions, Freight, Customs, Shipment Delays etc.
  • Budget Utilization
  • Business Performance including Cash Flow, P&L statements.
  • Retail Productivity Metrics
  • Check and monitor the various reports being sent to various user groups and ensure that all reports are sent on a timely basis.
  • Generate ad hoc / temporary business reports as required from time to time for management decision making by various stakeholders.
  • Understand the exact requirement from the user group and provide the best possible solution within the shortest time span.
  • Develop new report formats and tools as per the requirements of the business.
  • Ensuring daily updating of Stock & Sales reports and sharing with the relevant Stakeholders.
  • Perform sensitivity analysis and scenario modelling for optimizing business performance outputs.
  • Conduct analysis of Business Performance based on key operational parameters \xe2\x80\x93 Margins, Contribution, Per Sq ft Sales, BEP etc.
  • Conduct trends analysis (Sales, Stocks, Margins, Receipts) to compare trends with regards to past data, YOY, QOQ comparisons
  • Ensure that the monthly stock reports like stock in months, stock ageing and margin analysis are prepared in time and sent to the Users Monitor the finalized budgets and prepare the Budget Vs Actuals for review by Management.
  • Report the areas of concern and significant variances to the management.
  • Ensure that the action plan is drawn up for areas where business and financial performance is alarming.
  • Assist in the consolidation and preparation of annual financial budgets by coordinating with sales, planning, buying and operations teams.
  • Prepare Break Even analysis for new projects and renovation.
  • Ensure submission of periodic Sales reports - Subgroup wise / Brand wise etc.
  • Ensure submission of relevant MIS reports to corporate office as per schedule.
  • Ensure that all reports are error free, and the data reported is accurate.
  • Developing & Assisting in Automation of daily/ Weekly / Monthly MIS reports
  • Interacting & taking update on a regular basis with Territory Teams, Imports Team, Warehousing Team, Merchandise Planning Team, Buying Team, Operation Team.
Miscellaneous
  • Manage computer administration (Hardware / Software); troubleshooting and running queries, if required
  • Perform data entry as and when required.
  • Impart basic training to staff in understanding and usage of reporting tools and formats.
