At Qiddiya Investment Company, we are on an exciting journey to transform the entertainment and leisure landscape in Saudi Arabia, and we are looking for an inspirational Executive Director - Development to lead our visionary development initiatives. This pivotal role involves strategic oversight and execution of large-scale projects that will define the future of Qiddiya.


As the Executive Director - Development, you will be responsible for guiding a talented team through every phase of development projects, from conception through completion. You will collaborate closely with a diverse array of stakeholders to ensure that our projects not only meet high standards of excellence but also align with Qiddiya's mission to create a vibrant and engaging destination.

Primary Responsibilities

Develop and implement the strategic vision and framework for all development initiatives within Qiddiya. Oversee project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring alignment with budgetary, timeframe, and quality objectives. Create and foster partnerships with governmental entities, industry stakeholders, and local communities to enhance project support and engagement. Manage comprehensive project budgets, forecasts, and financial performance, ensuring prudent resource allocation. Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team, promoting a culture of innovation, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Identify and adopt best practices in project management to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, safety protocols, and sustainability measures throughout the development process. Regularly update senior management and the Board on project progress, challenges, and strategic recommendations. Encourage a customer-focused approach, ensuring that community needs and feedback are integrated into development plans.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Real Estate Development, Urban Planning, Business Administration, or a related discipline (Master's degree or MBA preferred). A minimum of 15 years of experience in real estate development or project management, with demonstrated success in leading large-scale development projects. Strong understanding of financial principles, project budgeting, and resource management. Proven track record in strategic planning and execution in the entertainment, leisure, or hospitality sectors. Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and adapt to a rapidly changing environment. Solid technical knowledge of project management methodologies and tools. Fluent in both Arabic and English is a plus.
