I am currently supporting a leading investment management company whodevelop, own, andoperate successful F&B, hospitality & entertainment concepts across the Middle East, USA, Asia andEurope.
The group are now looking to launch a new high end Spanish fine dining concept in Dubai, UAE and are now seeking an Executive Chef to manage all BOH operations.
The restaurant is targetting an October 2023 launch, and ideally we\'re looking for those with prior pre-opening experience alongside demonstrated experience working within the GCC capacity.
Respsonibilities:
Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities.
Modify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards.
Estimate food requirements and food/labor costs.
Supervise kitchen staff\xe2\x80\x99s activities.
Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs.
Recruit and manage kitchen staff.
Rectify arising problems or complaints.
Give prepared plates the \xe2\x80\x9cfinal touch\xe2\x80\x9d.
Perform administrative duties.
Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.
Keep time and payroll records.
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
Requirements:
Proven working experience as a Head/Executive Chef.
Previous experience managing pre-opening venues, alongside demonstrated experience working within the GCC.
Excellent record of kitchen management.
Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently.
Capable of delegating multiple tasks.
Communication and leadership skills.
Keep up with cooking trends and best practices.
Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office,restaurant managementsoftware, POS).
BS degree in Culinary science or related certificate.
