Job Summary:

The Events Decor Specialist is responsible for designing, preparing, installing, and dismantling decorative elements for various events such as birthdays, weddings, corporate functions, kids' parties, and themed celebrations. The role focuses on balloons, floral arrangements, backdrops, table styling, and overall event aesthetics, ensuring designs match the client's theme, budget, and venue requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

The role involves planning and executing event decor concepts based on client briefs, themes, and layouts. You will set up balloon arrangements (arches, garlands, columns), floral decor (fresh or artificial), customized backdrops, stage styling, table centerpieces, and props. You are expected to handle on-site installation and post-event dismantling efficiently and safely, often under time pressure. Maintaining decor materials, tools, and inventory is part of the job, as well as coordinating with event planners, venue staff, and clients during setup. Attention to detail is essential to ensure consistency, color harmony, and visual impact.

Required Skills and Competencies:

You should have a good eye for design, color coordination, and spatial arrangement. Hands-on skills in balloon styling, backdrop construction, and basic floral design are required. Physical stamina is important, as the role involves lifting, standing for long periods, and working on-site. Time management, reliability, and the ability to follow instructions accurately are critical. Creativity is expected, but so is discipline--this is execution, not improvisation.

Qualifications:

Prior experience in events decor, styling, or event setup is preferred but not always required if you have strong practical skills. Training or workshops in balloon styling, floral arrangement, or event design are an advantage. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, is essential.

Working Conditions:

Work is primarily on-site at event venues and may involve indoor and outdoor setups. Schedules depend on event timelines and may include early mornings or late nights.
