We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated
Event Sales Manager
to lead our event sales efforts and drive revenue growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to attract corporate, social, and private event clients, including conferences, weddings, exhibitions, and other large-scale gatherings.
The Event Sales Manager will build strong client relationships, identify new business opportunities, and work closely with the operations and marketing teams to ensure seamless event execution and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for event spaces and services
Identify, prospect, and secure new corporate, social, and private event clients through networking, cold calling, and market research
Manage the full sales cycle from inquiry to contract negotiation and closing
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
Collaborate with the events operations and catering teams to tailor event proposals and ensure client requirements are met
Prepare detailed event proposals, quotations, and contracts
Attend industry events, exhibitions, and networking functions to promote the venue and services
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adjust sales tactics accordingly
Track sales performance metrics and report regularly to senior management
Oversee client follow-up to ensure post-event satisfaction and encourage repeat business
Coordinate with marketing to develop promotional materials and campaigns for event sales
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field preferred
Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience in event sales, hospitality sales, or corporate event management
Strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills
Ability to build rapport and maintain relationships with diverse clients
Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Results-driven with a proactive approach to problem-solving
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus
Valid UAE Driving License preferred
