Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Civil Estimation Engineer with a minimum of 10 years UAE experience in cost estimation, tender preparation, and quantity take-offs for commercial, residential, civil, and interior fit-out projects. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of UAE market rates, materials, technical specifications, and local authority regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate cost estimates, BOQs, and tender submissions for civil, commercial, residential, and fit-out projects. Analyze project drawings, specifications, and technical documents to understand scope and requirements. Conduct quantity take-offs for civil and interior works using industry-standard software/tools. Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project teams to collect necessary inputs for estimation. Obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors, negotiate pricing, and build competitive cost structures. Evaluate material prices, labor costs, equipment requirements, and subcontractor rates in accordance with UAE market standards. Prepare comparison sheets and finalize cost summaries for management review. Assist in preparing tender clarifications, technical submittals, and compliance documents. Support the tendering team during technical and commercial meetings as required. Maintain a database of updated market prices, suppliers, subcontractors, and estimation norms.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Minimum 10 years of UAE experience in estimation, tendering, or quantity surveying. Strong knowledge of UAE civil construction standards, local regulations, and authority requirements. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and estimation software (CostX, Planswift, or equivalent). Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight tender deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of fit-out estimation. Experience with value engineering and cost optimization. Familiarity with supplier networks in the UAE.
