Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

Estimator & Project Coordinator

to join our dynamic team. This hybrid role combines the technical accuracy of cost estimation with the hands-on coordination of project execution. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are accurately priced, efficiently scheduled, and smoothly managed from tender stage through completion.

Key Responsibilities Estimation Duties:

Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents to prepare accurate cost estimates for interior fit-out projects. Quantify materials, labor, and subcontractor requirements. Solicit and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations. Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and cost breakdowns. Identify cost-saving opportunities and value-engineering options. Assist in tender submissions and clarify technical queries with clients or consultants.

Project Coordination Duties:

Support project planning, scheduling, and procurement activities. Coordinate between design, procurement, and site teams to ensure smooth workflow. Track project progress, budgets, and variations. Prepare and update project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and progress reports. Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve issues promptly. Ensure all works are completed to quality standards, timelines, and budgets.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or Construction Management.

1-2 years

of experience in estimation and project coordination, preferably in interior fit-out or joinery works. Strong knowledge of fit-out materials, finishes, and construction methods. Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software (e.g., PlanSwift, Candy, or similar). Excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skills. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
