to join our technical team.
Role Overview:
The
Joinery Project Estimator
will be responsible for accurately estimating costs, materials, and labor for bespoke joinery and fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a deep understanding of joinery processes, and the ability to read and produce detailed AutoCAD drawings to support the estimation process.
Key Responsibilities:
Review drawings, tender documents, and specifications to prepare detailed cost estimates.
Conduct quantity take-offs and prepare bills of quantities (BOQs).
Source and obtain supplier/subcontractor quotations for materials and services.
Analyze and compare pricing to ensure competitive and accurate estimates.
Prepare project cost breakdowns and tender submissions.
Liaise with project managers, designers, and clients to clarify project requirements.
Maintain and update cost databases and pricing libraries.
Support value engineering and project budgeting processes.
Requirements and Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Joinery or Fit-out Estimator.
Strong knowledge of joinery materials, manufacturing processes, and finishes.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (AutoCAD)Proficiency in MS Excel and estimation software.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficient in
AutoCAD
(reading and drawing).
Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
Previous experience in high-end residential, commercial, or hospitality joinery projects.
