Job Description

:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical

Estimator

with 2-3 years of experience in the aluminum and glass industry in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, quotations, and material take-offs for aluminum and glass works including curtain walls, windows, doors, cladding, balustrades, and skylights.

Key Responsibilities:

Review project tender documents, architectural drawings, and specifications to prepare cost estimates. Prepare accurate

BOQs (Bill of Quantities)

and

material take-offs

for aluminum and glass systems. Analyze and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations to ensure cost efficiency. Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for up-to-date pricing of materials and systems. Prepare and submit

cost estimates, technical proposals, and quotations

within project timelines. Assist in

value engineering

and cost optimization proposals. Work closely with the sales, design, and project management teams to ensure alignment with client requirements and project feasibility. Attend technical and commercial meetings when required. Maintain a database of standard rates, material costs, and pricing trends. Keep updated on market trends and competitor pricing strategies.

Requirements:

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree

in Civil/Mechanical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field. Minimum

2-3 years of UAE experience

in estimating for aluminum and glass works. Strong knowledge of aluminum systems (e.g.,

Schuco, Technal, Gulf Extrusions

, etc.). Proficiency in

AutoCAD

,

MS Excel

, and estimation software/tools. Understanding of

UAE market rates

,

materials

, and

project costing standards

. Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and tender drawings. Good negotiation, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with

facade estimation

for high-rise, villa, or commercial projects. Familiarity with

ERP systems

and project costing software. UAE driving license (optional but preferred).
