Job Summary

We are looking for a

highly analytical and experienced Estimation Manager

to lead our cost estimation department for aluminum and facade systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing

accurate, competitive, and technically sound cost proposals

, managing tender submissions, and providing strategic commercial insights to support business growth. This role is critical in ensuring

bid accuracy, profitability, and competitiveness

in a fast-paced contracting environment.

Key Responsibilities1. Estimation & Tendering

Lead the preparation of

detailed cost estimates

for aluminum and facade systems, including curtain walls, cladding, windows, louvers, and doors. Review and analyze

drawings, specifications, and BOQs

to determine material, labor, and equipment requirements. Prepare

comprehensive tender submissions

in line with client requirements and deadlines.

2. Cost Analysis & Risk Assessment

Conduct

cost breakdowns

covering direct/indirect costs, overheads, and contingencies. Identify

risks, discrepancies, and cost-saving opportunities

within tender documents. Recommend

value engineering solutions

to enhance bid competitiveness and project efficiency.

3. Vendor & Supplier Coordination

Liaise with

vendors and subcontractors

to obtain competitive quotations. Maintain and update a

cost database

of materials, labor rates, and historical project data. Evaluate technical and commercial offers to ensure

best value procurement

.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with

design, engineering, procurement, and operations teams

to align estimates with technical feasibility. Support

sales and business development teams

in pricing strategies and proposal preparation. Participate in

post-tender negotiations

and contract finalization processes.

5. Team Management & Process Optimization

Lead, train, and mentor a team of

estimators and quantity surveyors

. Develop standardized

estimation procedures, templates, and tools

for improved accuracy and efficiency. Ensure compliance with

company policies, ISO standards, and best industry practices

.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in

Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying

, or a related field.

10-15 years

of experience in

aluminum and facade estimation

, including at least

3 years in a managerial role

. Strong knowledge of

curtain walls, structural glazing, cladding, and architectural aluminum systems

. Proficiency in

MS Excel, AutoCAD

, and estimation software such as

CCS (Candy), PlanSwift

, or equivalent. Excellent

commercial awareness, negotiation, and technical evaluation

skills. Proven

leadership, communication, and organizational

abilities.
