We are seeking a highly analytical and results-driven
Estimation Manager
to lead our estimation and tendering efforts for aluminum and facade systems. This leadership role is critical in ensuring competitive, accurate, and timely cost proposals for high-value projects. The ideal candidate will bring deep industry knowledge, strong commercial acumen, and proven experience in managing tender processes within the facade and aluminum sector.
Key Responsibilities:
1.
Estimation & Tender Management
Lead the preparation of comprehensive cost estimates for facade and aluminum systems, including curtain walls, cladding, windows, and structural glazing.
Analyze project specifications, architectural/structural drawings, and BOQs to determine accurate material and labor requirements.
Ensure timely and competitive submission of bids in alignment with client specifications and project timelines.

Cost Analysis & Risk Evaluation
Perform detailed cost breakdowns for direct, indirect, and overhead costs.
Identify cost risks, discrepancies, and commercial exposures in tender documents.
Recommend value engineering alternatives to enhance bid competitiveness without compromising quality.
3.
Vendor & Supplier Management
Engage with vendors, subcontractors, and manufacturers to obtain competitive and technically viable quotations.
Maintain an up-to-date database of material costs, labor rates, and market trends.
Evaluate commercial and technical proposals from suppliers for cost and compliance.
4.
Interdepartmental Coordination
Collaborate with design, engineering, and procurement teams to align technical and commercial aspects of estimates.
Support the sales and business development teams by providing data-driven insights for bid strategies.
Participate in post-tender clarifications, value engineering discussions, and contract finalization.
5.
Team Leadership & Process Optimization
Manage and mentor a team of estimators and quantity surveyors, ensuring high performance and skill development.
Standardize estimation tools, templates, and procedures to enhance accuracy, consistency, and efficiency.
Ensure adherence to company policies, quality standards, and industry best practices.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in
Civil Engineering
,
Quantity Surveying
, or a related discipline.
10-15 years
of experience in estimation for aluminum and facade systems, with at least
3 years in a managerial or leadership role
.
Strong expertise in
curtain walls
,
structural glazing
,
cladding
, and other architectural aluminum systems.
Proficiency in
MS Excel
,
AutoCAD
, and industry-standard estimation tools such as
CCS
,
Candy
, or
PlanSwift
.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and strategic thinking capabilities.
