Job Summary

We are seeking a highly analytical and experienced

Estimation Manager

to lead our cost estimation department for aluminum and facade projects. The successful candidate will oversee the preparation of accurate cost proposals, manage tender submissions, and provide commercial insights to support sales and project teams. This role is critical for ensuring the

profitability and competitiveness

of our bids within a dynamic industry.

Key Responsibilities

1. Estimation & Tendering

Lead the preparation of

detailed and accurate cost estimates

for aluminum and facade systems, including curtain walls, cladding, windows, and doors. Analyze project drawings, specifications, and

Bills of Quantities (BOQs)

to determine material, labor, and equipment requirements. Prepare competitive and compliant

tender submissions

within deadlines.

2. Cost Analysis & Risk Assessment

Conduct comprehensive

cost analyses

, including direct and indirect costs, overheads, and contingencies. Identify potential risks, inconsistencies, and

opportunities for cost savings

during the bidding process. Recommend

value engineering solutions

to optimize project costs.

3. Vendor & Supplier Coordination

Liaise with

suppliers and subcontractors

to obtain competitive and reliable quotations. Maintain an up-to-date database of

material prices, labor rates, and historical cost data

. Evaluate technical and commercial offers to ensure

best value

.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

Coordinate with

design, technical, and procurement teams

to ensure estimates incorporate efficient solutions. Support

sales and business development teams

with pricing strategies and commercial input. Participate in

post-tender negotiations and contract reviews

.

5. Team Management & Process Improvement

Manage, mentor, and develop a team of

estimators and quantity surveyors

. Standardize estimation methodologies and tools to improve

accuracy, consistency, and efficiency

. Ensure adherence to

company policies, quality standards, and best practices

.
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in

Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related discipline

.

13-15 years of experience

in estimation for aluminum and facade systems, including at least

3 years in a leadership role

. Strong technical knowledge of

curtain walls, structural glazing, cladding, and aluminum facade systems

. Proficiency in

MS Excel, AutoCAD,

Excellent

analytical, leadership, and communication skills

.
