We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented
Estimation Manager
to lead and oversee the cost estimation function for
Aluminum and Facade projects
. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of facade systems, aluminum fabrication, and installation processes. This role plays a critical part in winning new projects and maintaining the profitability of the company through accurate, competitive, and timely estimations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Estimation Activities:
Manage the preparation and submission of accurate cost estimates, bids, and tender documentation for facade and aluminum works.
Analyze project drawings, specifications, and related documents to determine project requirements.
Tender Management:
Oversee the tendering process including quantity take-offs, cost analysis, and supplier/subcontractor quotations.
Review and evaluate technical and commercial requirements of tender documents.
Cost Analysis & Budgeting:
Develop cost plans, budgets, and forecasting for ongoing and upcoming projects.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options.
Team Leadership:
Manage and mentor the estimation team, ensuring high levels of performance, accuracy, and accountability.
Assign tasks, monitor workloads, and review outputs for consistency and completeness.
Stakeholder Coordination:
Collaborate with design, procurement, planning, and project execution teams to ensure alignment of cost estimates with operational needs.
Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors during pre- and post-tender stages.
Market Intelligence:
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of material prices, labor costs, and market trends in the aluminum and facade industry in the UAE and GCC region.
Develop and maintain a strong network of suppliers and subcontractors.
Reporting & Documentation:
Prepare detailed estimation reports for management review.
Maintain a comprehensive database of historical costs, material prices, and vendor information.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
Minimum of
8-15 years
of relevant experience in estimation for aluminum and facade projects in the UAE/GCC region.
Strong understanding of aluminum systems, curtain walls, cladding, and glazing solutions.
Proficiency in estimation software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Excel, Bluebeam, Planswift, etc.).
Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Attention to detail and accuracy is a must.
Preferred:
Experience with design-and-build contracts or turnkey facade packages.
Familiarity with international standards and local UAE regulations related to facade engineering.

Pay: AED13,000.00 - AED16,000.00 per month
