We are seeking a highly experienced and analytical
Estimation Manager
to lead the cost estimation function for our aluminum and facade projects. This is a strategic role that supports our growth and competitiveness in a fast-paced and design-driven construction environment.
Job Summary:
The Estimation Manager will be responsible for preparing accurate cost proposals, managing tender submissions, and supporting commercial decision-making. The role demands technical expertise, leadership, and a collaborative mindset to ensure profitable and competitive bids.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Estimation & Tendering
Lead and manage the preparation of cost estimates for curtain walls, cladding, windows, doors, and structural glazing systems
Interpret project drawings, specifications, and BOQs to determine materials, labor, and equipment requirements
Prepare detailed, compliant tender submissions within tight deadlines
2. Cost Analysis & Risk Assessment
Perform in-depth cost analysis, considering direct, indirect, and overhead costs
Identify risks, ambiguities, and cost-saving opportunities
Recommend value engineering alternatives during pre-award stages
3. Vendor & Supplier Coordination
Source competitive quotations from suppliers and subcontractors
Maintain a robust cost database for materials, labor, and historical project data
Assess technical and commercial submissions from vendors
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Coordinate with design, procurement, and technical teams for efficient and accurate cost solutions
Work alongside sales and BD teams to support pricing strategies
Participate in tender clarifications, negotiations, and contract reviews
5. Team Management & Process Optimization
Lead and mentor a team of estimators and quantity surveyors
Streamline estimation tools, templates, and procedures
Ensure all outputs comply with internal policies and industry standards
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline
10-15 years of estimation experience in facade and aluminum systems, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial role
Expertise in curtain walls, cladding, and structural glazing systems
Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation platforms like CCS, Candy, or
Strong commercial acumen, attention to detail, and leadership abilities
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED12,000.00 - AED18,000.00 per month
