Leading Landscaping and Irrigation Contractor based in Dubai seeks experienced Commercial Tender cum Estimation
Manager. This position is a senior role and responsibilities include but are not limited to managing a team of Estimators,
generate leads, Bid Management, Attending Pre-Bid Meetings, Prequalification and Vendor Management Processes.
The responsibilities also include managing risk of contractual obligations and provide input in the estimation of new
projects and attend tender invitations & meetings. Client Management for both new and existing clients will be a critical
part of this role for commercial aspects of Softscape, Irrigation, Hardscape, Swimming pool and water features, Wood
works and Lighting.

Responsibilities:

- Manage the Tender department in a fast-paced, high volume environment to review and oversee the tender/bid
process, documents, drawings, BOQ, specifications, technical documentation and analyse Sub-Contractor, Material
quotes for commercial landscape and irrigation construction projects.
- Ensure optimized workflow, systems and processes for accurate and timely completed estimating schedule
- Contribute strategy for successful bids and proposals on all projects including private, public, complex and large-scale
projects.
- Participate in negotiation and management of all bid analysis and ensure profitable cost analysis for projects as well as
budget estimates and project schedules providing guidance and leadership for solutions and optimisation.
- Manage, train and mentor a high-performance team.
- Read and interpret all types of landscape, MEP plans and specifications to establish a WBS within the scope of works.
- Price to determine detailed cost break down into Manpower, Material and Machinery using advanced excel functions
and dedicated and specialised systems for use in bid proposal estimates

Skills

- A minimum of ten years experience as a Senior Estimator in a leading commercial landscape construction company.
- A proven track record estimating a variety of project scopes including: soft landscape, hard landscape, irrigation, civil
and hard landscape, swimming pools and water features.
- Ability to manage deadlines, prioritize and multi task in a fast-paced environment through organization, collaboration
and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Planswift, IrriCAD, AutoCAD and Estimation, Quantity Take off and Tender/Bid Management Software
Applications with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Analytical skills with the ability to prepare statistical reports using advanced Excel Functions and the ability to
communicate ideas and technical information to the QS, Procurement and Project Management Teams.
- Demonstrable skills in Value Engineering and Cost Control techniques.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal (English, Arabic is a plus.
