Job Description

We are seeking a qualified

Estimation Engineer

with a solid background in steel fabrication or acoustic system production to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Production, Design, and Sales teams to prepare accurate cost and time estimates for custom-engineered products and systems.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze engineering drawings, project specifications, and BOQs to develop production time, material, and labor estimates. Coordinate with Production and Procurement to ensure feasibility, cost-efficiency, and timeline alignment. Calculate and prepare cost breakdowns and production plans for proposals, tenders, and internal planning. Collaborate with design and engineering teams for technical validations and value engineering. Track actual costs vs. estimated to continuously improve accuracy and performance. Liaise with suppliers to gather material prices, lead times, and fabrication feasibility.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in production or fabrication estimation, preferably in steel structures, HVAC accessories, or acoustic systems. Strong understanding of fabrication processes, material types, and production workflows. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, and estimation software (e.g., Bluebeam, Tekla, or equivalent). Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Preferred Background

Experience working in a manufacturing setup (sheet metal, steel, or custom acoustic panels). Familiarity with ERP systems and production planning tools. Exposure to MEP or acoustic-related manufacturing is a plus.
