Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented

Estimation Engineer

with proven experience in

steel fabrication

within the UAE market. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in

material submittals for structural steel works

, along with preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing tender documents, reviewing project specifications, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure competitive and profitable bids.

Key Responsibilities:

Study and analyze

tender documents, drawings, and specifications

related to structural steel and fabrication works. Prepare

detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and material take-offs

for steel fabrication projects. Review and prepare

material submittals

for structural steel, ensuring compliance with project specifications, international standards, and consultant requirements. Evaluate labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor requirements to develop accurate pricing. Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations and update cost databases. Prepare and submit

technical and commercial proposals

within the required deadlines. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and the sales team to finalize bid strategies. Ensure compliance with UAE market standards, client specifications, and industry codes. Support management in contract negotiations and variation claims when required.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Civil Engineering or related field.

Minimum 4-7 years of estimation experience

in the

steel fabrication industry

within the UAE.

Must have strong knowledge of Material Submittals for structural steel works.

Strong knowledge of

structural steel, fabrication, welding, and erection works

. Proficiency in

AutoCAD, MS Office, and estimation software

. Good understanding of UAE market rates, suppliers, and subcontractors. Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred:

UAE Driving License. Previous experience with leading steel fabrication companies in UAE.
