Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced
Estimation Engineer
for our Steel Division. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, reviewing project specifications, and coordinating with various departments to ensure precise project proposals.Note: An attested engineering certificate is mandatory
for this position.Responsibilities include, but not limited to;
Analyze technical drawings and project specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates. Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and pricing for steel structure fabrication and erection. Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to gather cost information and ensure competitive rates. Collaborate with design, engineering, and production teams to validate project requirements. Assist in the preparation and submission of tender documents. Track and update ongoing project estimations and cost variations. Maintain and update cost database regularly.
Requirements:
Attested engineering certificate is mandatory. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in steel structure estimation or a similar role. Excellent knowledge of structural steel fabrication processes and materials. Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and estimation software. Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. UAE Driving License (Preferred)
