Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Estimator to join our team. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for projects, helping the organization make informed decisions during the bidding and planning phases. The ideal candidate has strong math skills, construction knowledge, and the ability to read blueprints and technical documents.

Key Responsibilities:



Review project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates. Collaborate with engineers, architects, clients, and contractors to clarify scope and requirements. Obtain pricing from suppliers and subcontractors. Prepare detailed proposals and bids in a timely manner. Analyze project risks and develop contingency plans. Maintain a database of historical cost data for reference in future projects. Participate in project hand-off meetings to ensure accurate transition from estimating to execution.

Requirements:



Proven experience as an Estimator or similar role. Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, ProEst, or Microsoft Excel). Strong mathematical and analytical skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. Effective communication and negotiation skills. Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Finance, or related field preferred.
