We are looking for a qualified and experienced Estimation engineer with a background in Civil or Mechanical Engineering to join our team. The ideal candidate must meet the following criteria:
Requirements:
Educational Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
Minimum GPA of 3.5/4.0 in each semester (semester-based system)
Language:
Fluent in English (spoken and written)
Experience:
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in steel structure estimation
Applications without relevant steel estimation experience will be automatically rejected
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of IFC drawings, detailed drawings, and shop drawings
Proficient in:
AutoCAD
PlanSwift
MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Key Responsibilities:
Steel Structure Estimation:
Prepare detailed quantity take-offs for steel items and connections based on IFC drawings
Calculate the total cost of projects accurately and efficiently
Quotation Preparation:
Develop competitive quotations based on cost estimates and current market pricing
Client Communication:
Follow up on quotations via email and phone calls
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their project requirements and ensure compliance in all quotations
