Job Description
We are seeking an experienced
Estimation Engineer
with a strong background insteel structures
to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should be capable of preparing accurate estimates, analyzing drawings, and developing competitive proposals tailored to client requirements.Key Responsibilities:
Analyze architectural and structural drawings to prepare accurate BOQs. Estimate material quantities, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs. Prepare detailed project cost proposals and technical submissions. Coordinate with the sales and design team to deliver cost-effective solutions. Track and update costs and supplier rates to maintain competitive pricing. Assist in value engineering and design optimization. Prepare and maintain documentation for pricing history and tender submissions.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in estimation, specifically in
steel structure projects
. Knowledge of UAE market standards and suppliers. Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software. Strong analytical and communication skills. Experience in proposal writing is amust
.Preferred Experience:
Car parking shades, steel sheds, pergolas, and tensile fabric structures.
