Estimation Engineer Electrical (tendering)

Job Description
Review and analyze tender documents including drawings, specifications, and scope of work. Prepare detailed
cost estimates
for all electrical systems (LV, MV, ELV, lighting, power distribution, fire alarm, etc.). PrepareBill of Quantities (BOQ)
from drawings and specifications. Identify materials, equipment, and labor requirements based on project scope. Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitiveness. Preparetechnical and commercial proposals
in compliance with client requirements. Coordinate with design, procurement, and project teams to validate the accuracy of estimates. Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and tender clarifications when required. Analyze risks and value engineering options to improve project competitiveness. Support management infinal pricing
and bid submission strategy. Maintain a database of suppliers, subcontractors, and cost benchmarks.Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in
Electrical Engineering
or equivalent. Minimum 5-7 years of experience
in estimation and tendering forMEP / Electrical contracting companies
. Strong knowledge ofelectrical systems
, materials, and installation practices. Familiarity withQatar Construction Specifications (QCS)
and local authority regulations (Kahramaa, Ashghal, etc.) preferred. Proficient inAutoCAD, MS Office (Excel, Word), and estimation software
. Excellent communication and analytical skills. Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tenders simultaneously.Key Skills:
