Job Title: Estimation Engineer.

Job Summary: Estimation of custom made joinery products.

Location: Sobha Furniture - Technopark

Qualification Required: Civil / Mechanical Engineer.

No: of years' of experience required: 3- 5 years.

Reports to: Head- Estimation & Contract

No. of reportees - NIL

Key skills required

Familiarity with production processes in a joinery workshop or manufacturing facility

Good Communication skills

Creative and Analytic thinking

Attention to detail and high level of numerical accuracy

Ability to work under pressure

Skilled in Numeracy and Finance

Problem solving.



Preparation of RFI upon receiving the enquiry from Sales Department.

Floating RFQ to vendors for receiving the material cost.

Review architectural drawings, joinery shop drawings, and project specifications.

Prepare detailed cost estimates for custom-made joinery including cabinetry, doors, wardrobes, wall panelling, reception counters, and other bespoke items.

Analyse material, labour, production, and installation costs.

Preparing client offer with qualifications, terms and conditions and priced BOQ.

Maintain Project wise enquiry / offer tracker for Management review.

Preparation of project budget based on the estimation upon receiving the PO from client.

Purchase Request initiation of all raw materials based on the Estimation
