. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates, analyzing project requirements, and coordinating with design and procurement teams to ensure cost-effective solutions aligned with project specifications and budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed and itemized cost estimates for interior fit-out projects, including civil, joinery, ceiling, flooring, partition, and finishing works.
Review and analyze drawings, specifications, and BOQs to determine the scope of work and required materials.
Coordinate with design, procurement, and project teams to obtain the necessary technical and cost data.
Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations for technical compliance, accuracy, and competitiveness.
Conduct quantity take-offs and maintain an updated cost database for materials and labor rates.
Provide value engineering recommendations to optimize cost and quality.
Support tender submissions by preparing technical and commercial proposals.
Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and client discussions as required.
Ensure timely completion of all estimation activities within tender deadlines.
Preferred Experience & Qualifications:
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil / Interior Design / Architecture or related field.
Minimum
3-5 years of experience
in estimation for
interior fit-out projects
.
Strong understanding of interior materials, finishes, and market rates.
Proficiency in
AutoCAD, MS Excel
, and estimation/take-off software.
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
