Estimation Engineer

to join our

technical and project management team

and support the financial and operational planning of various construction projects.

Role Overview

The

Estimation Engineer

will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimations and tender submissions for construction projects. This includes reviewing project specifications, analysing drawings, sourcing quotations, and coordinating with various internal departments to ensure comprehensive and competitive proposals. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, cost control acumen, and prior experience in

villa, low-rise, and renovation/modification projects

.

Key Responsibilities

Analyse drawings, specifications, and project documents to prepare cost estimates and BOQs

Obtain and compare supplier/subcontractor quotations and pricing data

Prepare tender submissions and cost breakdowns for client proposals

Coordinate with architects, engineers, procurement, and project teams for accurate inputs

Monitor project budgets and assist in value engineering exercises

Support post-tender negotiations and cost clarifications

Maintain cost databases and regularly update unit rates for materials, labour, and services

Prepare monthly cost reports and support cost control during execution stages

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field

Minimum 5 years of relevant villa and building construction experience

At least 3 years of experience working in Dubai

Currently based in Dubai

(applications from outside Dubai will not be considered)

Strong knowledge of estimation software (e.g., Candy, CCS) and MS Excel

Familiarity with UAE construction market prices, vendors, and authority regulations

High level of attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical thinking

Excellent communication and time management skills
