Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically proficient

Estimation Engineer

with a background in

Acoustic

or

Interior Fit-Out

works. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate project cost estimates, analyzing project requirements, and supporting technical submissions. The role requires strong coordination with design, procurement, and project teams to ensure cost-effective and compliant project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:1. Cost Estimation & BOQ Preparation

Analyze project drawings, specifications, and related documents to prepare detailed quantity take-offs and Bill of Quantities (BOQ). Prepare cost estimates for acoustic systems, interior finishes, and related fit-out components. Evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotations and ensure cost competitiveness. Monitor market rates and maintain updated unit cost databases for material and labor.

2. Tendering & Proposal Support

Prepare and submit competitive bid packages for tenders, RFQs, and negotiated projects. Coordinate with the procurement and design teams to ensure accurate and timely bid submissions. Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and technical discussions with clients and consultants.

3. Technical Project Submissions

Assist in the preparation of technical submittals including material approvals, method statements, compliance sheets, and product data. Ensure all technical documents meet project specifications, codes, and regulatory standards. Liaise with consultants and project stakeholders to resolve queries or technical clarifications.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree

in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

3-5 years

of relevant experience in Estimation for

Acoustic or Interior Fit-Out projects

. Proficient in

AutoCAD &

MS Excel

. Strong understanding of acoustic materials, fit-out components, and construction techniques. Knowledge of technical submittal processes and document control procedures.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with acoustic performance standards and certifications is a plus. Familiarity with value engineering and project cost optimization. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for proposal and client interaction. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
