We are seeking a detail-oriented and commercially aware

Estimation Engineer with Quantity Surveying expertise

to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in preparing accurate cost estimates, BOQs, and pricing proposals while supporting the project and sales teams during bidding and post-contract stages.

This hybrid role requires a solid understanding of quantity take-offs, tender documentation, vendor coordination, and pricing strategies within the construction, interiors, or MEP industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Study project drawings, specifications, and tender documents to prepare accurate cost estimates Prepare detailed BOQs and material take-offs using AutoCAD, PlanSwift, or similar tools Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations and rates Support the tendering team in preparing and submitting complete bid packages Identify and analyze cost factors, including materials, labor, timelines, and risk elements Track and update historical cost data to support future projects and price benchmarking Assist project team with cost control, variation analysis, and commercial reporting Coordinate with project engineers, QS team, and procurement for cost approvals and value engineering Prepare rate build-ups and cost comparisons for management review

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field 3-5 years of experience in estimation or quantity surveying roles (fit-out, construction, or MEP preferred) Proficient in estimation software, AutoCAD, and Excel; knowledge of PlanSwift or CostX is an advantage Strong knowledge of local market rates, tender processes, and contracting terms Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple bids simultaneously Excellent analytical and numerical skills Good communication and coordination skills with internal and external stakeholders

Preferred:

UAE experience in commercial or residential fit-out/construction projects Knowledge of FIDIC or similar contractual frameworks Immediate joiners or candidates with short notice periods preferred
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
