Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Cost Estimation

: Prepare detailed cost estimates by analyzing project documents, including drawings and specifications.

Tender Preparation

: Develop and submit competitive bids, ensuring compliance with client specifications and budget constraints.

Site Assessments

: Conduct site visits to gather necessary information such as accessibility, availability of utilities, and other relevant factors.

Vendor Coordination

: Source and evaluate material, labor, and subcontractor costs, ensuring competitive pricing.

Documentation

: Maintain detailed records of estimates, including calculations and supporting documents.

Collaboration

: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely estimates.

Market Analysis

: Analyze market trends and report on emerging materials costs, labor rates, and other factors that may impact project costs.IndeedGulfTalentIndeed

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Education

: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Experience

: Minimum of 5 years of experience in cost estimation within civil projects.

Technical Skills

: Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for data analysis, reporting, and presentations.

Software Proficiency

: Experience with estimation software and tools is advantageous.

Communication

: Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Attention to Detail

: Ability to prepare detailed and accurate estimates within tight deadlines.
