Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze architectural drawings, BOQs, and project specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates for interior decoration and fit-out works. Coordinate with design, procurement, and project teams to understand project requirements and scope. Prepare and submit tenders, quotations, and bid proposals for clients and contractors. Evaluate suppliers' and subcontractors' quotations to determine the best pricing and terms. Monitor and update cost databases, price lists, and material/labor rates. Participate in value engineering and cost-saving exercises without compromising quality. Assist in procurement planning and budget control during project execution. Prepare detailed post-project cost analysis and reports. Maintain documentation and ensure all estimates and proposals comply with company standards and client requirements.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, or a related field. Minimum of 3-5 years experience as an estimator in the interior fit-out or construction industry. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and estimation software such as PlanSwift or Bluebeam. Strong knowledge of materials, methods, and industry pricing for interior works. Excellent analytical, numerical, and negotiation skills. Attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Good communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with high-end residential, commercial, and hospitality projects. Familiarity with Dubai Municipality and other local authority requirements. Understanding of project management and cost control principles.
