Managing proposal (Client accountability)- Starting from Client inquiry, Technical clarification throughout, High quality technical and commercial proposals, Design & technical co-ordination, handling inter-departmental workflows through planning, procurement, project execution and delivery.
- Review tender documents, Drawings such as P&ID and GAD and discuss additional/customized client requirements.
- Coordinate with different Departments within the Organization (internally), suppliers/sub-contractors (externally) and responsible in delivering high quality bid proposals on time, and in line with company standards and client requirements.
- Responsible in preparing proposals and ensure technical requirements defined in enquires are properly incorporated and accounted.
- Review, correct and approve the Estimation of equipment packages, piping, structures as per relevant standards, codes and company policies.
- Review and approve tender packages within schedule and Submit quotations on time.
- Attend pre-bidding meeting and kick off meeting with client.
- Provide technical inputs for inquiry and get the quotes from competitive suppliers and sub-contractors globally according to client requirement and company policies.
- Work Closely with Engineering and Project/Planning teams to obtain Approvals timely and obtain inputs for pricing variation opportunities on existing projects.
- Review projects after completion based on project data base and implement continuous improvement in costing and schedule.
- Graduate in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of estimating and Proposals experience.
- Adept in mathematics
- Sound understanding of Drawings such as P&ID, GAD, Piping Isometrics and knowledge of Piping of various well testing/Underbalanced drilling/Managed pressure drilling/Early production facility equipment.
- Structure and skid package codes and dimensional standards ASME 31.3/ API6A/API6D/DNV2.7-1/DNV OSE101.
- Have you got previous experience as an Estimation Engineer in Oil and Gas Industry (Pressure Vessel, Skids and Structures)?
- Oil and Gas: 3 years (Preferred)
