Job Description

An estimation engineer analyzes project documents to create accurate and timely cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and other resources, ensuring bids are competitive and projects remain within budget.

Core Responsibilities

Cost Analysis & Estimation:

Analyze project requirements, technical drawings, and specifications to develop detailed estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and associated costs.

Document Review:

Study tender documents, blueprints, and other project specifications to understand project scope and requirements.

Cost Modeling:

Develop and utilize cost models and other tools to support the estimating process.

Bill of Materials (BOM):

Create comprehensive bills of materials, listing all raw materials and components needed for a project.

Data Analysis & Reporting:

Collect and analyze data to identify cost trends, track performance, and provide financial reporting and other data.

Collaboration & Communication:

Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and aligned cost estimates.

Client Interaction:

Present cost estimates and justifications to clients for approval and to manage expectations.

Process Improvement:

Develop and revise manufacturing processes or work instructions to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR3,500.00 - QAR5,000.00 per month
