Key Responsibilities:
Develop detailed cost estimates for ELV systems including BMS, fire alarm, CCTV, access control, structured cabling, and lighting control.
Analyze project drawings, technical specifications, and BOQs to calculate material, labor, and time requirements.
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and design teams to gather relevant data and ensure estimation accuracy.
Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations for technical compliance and cost-effectiveness.
Provide value engineering suggestions and technical insights to optimize solutions and reduce costs.
Support tender and bidding processes by preparing pricing documents and responding to estimation-related queries.
Attend site inspections, pre-bid meetings, and technical discussions when necessary.
Maintain and update cost databases, vendor lists, and pricing templates for future project use.
Preferred Experience & Qualifications:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in ELV system estimation, particularly in automation and smart building solutions.
Proficient in reading and interpreting construction and system drawings, technical schematics, and design documents.
Familiar with estimation tools such as AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or industry-specific software for ELV estimation.
Strong knowledge of market pricing, vendor selection criteria, and product specifications within the ELV sector.
Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and negotiation skills.
