We are seeking a highly organized and detail-driven
Estimation Engineer
to join our expanding team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in pricing, bid preparation, and supporting the commercial success of fit-out and interior design projects across the UAE. This role requires a solid background in interior construction, material knowledge, and a strong grasp of market pricing and estimation practices.
Key Responsibilities
Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and BOQs to develop accurate cost estimates.
Calculate quantities and costs of materials, labor, and equipment for interior fit-out projects.
Collaborate with design, procurement, and project teams to ensure all estimating inputs are aligned.
Prepare and submit competitive technical and commercial proposals, including alternative solutions and value engineering.
Source and negotiate quotations with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure optimal pricing.
Assess and clarify the scope of work in tender packages, identifying potential risks and exclusions.
Analyze market trends and adjust estimates to stay competitive while ensuring profitability.
Attend pre-tender and client meetings when required to support the sales and project team.
Maintain a comprehensive database of materials, subcontractors, and historical cost data.
Assist with project handovers and budgeting to ensure smooth transition into execution.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
1-2years of UAE experience
in fit-out or interior contracting estimation is required.
In-depth understanding of fit-out works including ceilings, partitions, joinery, finishes, and MEP interfaces.
Proficient in
MS Excel
and estimation tools; working knowledge of AutoCAD, PlanSwift, or Bluebeam is an advantage.
Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and deliver estimates within tight deadlines.

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
