Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Estimation Engineer to join our Abu Dhabi office. This is a critical role responsible for developing competitive technical and commercial proposals for all Natural Gas (NG) projects.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimates (materials, labour, and subcontractors) and estimation sheets. Review RFQs, tender documents, drawings, and specifications to define the scope of work. Perform material take-offs and conduct preliminary equipment sizing. Prepare technical bid documents and presentations. Collaborate with various departments (Procurement, O&M, QHSE, Legal, and Finance) to gather proposal inputs. Identify project risks and propose mitigation strategies. Manage technical queries and clarifications (pre- and post-tender). Contribute to design work for ongoing projects when needed.
Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, etc.) Experience: 3 to 6 years in a similar role, preferably in gas systems contracting. Experience preparing technical bids and cost estimates. Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications. Exposure to the full lifecycle of construction projects.
Preferred Skills (Strongly Desirable)

Familiarity with local and international standards, including ADNOC City Gas standards, IGEM standards (UP/2, TD/3, TD/13, etc.), UAE Fire and Life Safety Code, NFPA 58, and NFPA 54. Site experience or practical exposure to gas systems, gas infrastructure, or MEP projects.
