Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor (QS) Engineer / Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background, combined with expertise in cost estimation and quantity surveying. The QS Engineer / Estimator will be responsible for providing accurate quantities of material, labor and equipment. This role requires a keen attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:



Quantity Surveying & Estimation:

Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for projects based on engineering drawings, specifications, and site conditions. Calculate and manage quantities of materials, labor, and equipment required for each project based on engineering drawings, specifications and site conditions. Obtain and evaluate quotes from suppliers and subcontractors to support cost estimation. Conduct quantity take-offs and prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs). Identify potential cost variations, evaluate change orders, and update budgets as necessary. Site Visit is a must

Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field. Experience in quantity surveying and estimating, within the construction or engineering sector additional MEP knowledge is Plus. Proficiency in estimating software and MS Office Suite. Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and industry standards. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:



MEP knowledge Familiarity with (contract management and local building codes and regulations) is a plus. Knowledge of project scheduling is a plus.

MEP: 2 years (Preferred) * Quantity Surveying and Estimation : 3 years (Preferred)
