Estimator Engineer
to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, technical background, and the ability to develop accurate cost estimates for a wide range of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and clients to understand project requirements.
Obtain and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers.
Prepare detailed cost breakdowns and estimates for proposals and project budgets.
Track and maintain historical data and pricing databases.
Assist in value engineering and cost reduction strategies.
Review estimates for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with industry standards.
Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits, when necessary.
Support contract negotiation and change order pricing.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
3+ years of experience as an Estimator Engineer or in a similar role.
Strong understanding of construction/engineering processes and materials.
Proficiency in estimation software (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, Sage Estimating, RS Means).
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
