Job Title: Estimator - GRC/GRG Factory

The Estimator is responsible for accurate cost estimation and preparation of tender documents specifically for GRC/GRG projects.

The role demands a high level of expertise in quantity take-offs, cost forecasting, and proactive involvement in project financial management to ensure profitability and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Specialize in cost estimation and preparation of tender documents tailored for GRC/GRG products and projects. Conduct detailed quantity take-offs using software tools like PlanSwift/CostX. Prepare comprehensive Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for GRC/GRG works. Assist in preparing monthly cost reports to monitor project performance, highlighting variances, and suggesting corrective actions. Collect and analyze historical cost data specific to GRC/GRG projects for use in future tenders and cost planning. Manage the preparation and submission of payment applications, ensuring accuracy and alignment with contract terms. Coordinate closely with project consultants to obtain early payment certifications to maintain healthy cash flow. Collaborate with the Project Manager to identify potential variations (change management), proactively contributing to the preparation of variation claims to minimize disputes and secure timely approvals. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of GRC/GRG industry standards, production processes, and material costs to enhance estimation accuracy and competitiveness.
Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field. Proven experience in cost estimation for GRC/GRG manufacturing and projects. Proficiency in estimation software (e.g., PlanSwift, CostX). Strong analytical and numerical skills. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
