Key Responsibilities:
Analyze project drawings, specifications, and requirements to prepare cost estimates.
Quantify materials, labor, and equipment needed for each project.
Coordinate with procurement and project teams to gather accurate cost data.
Prepare and submit competitive bids and proposals in a timely manner.
Maintain and update unit rates and cost databases.
Conduct post-tender analysis and provide feedback on pricing trends and accuracy.
Participate in value engineering and risk assessments for cost-effective solutions.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
4-6 years of experience as an estimation Engineer, preferably in landscaping or construction.
Proficient in estimation software (e.g., Candy, Excel) and quantity take-off tools.
Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with landscaping, irrigation, and infrastructure projects.
Familiarity with FIDIC contracts and local construction market pricing.
