We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Electrical Estimation Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will assist in preparing accurate cost estimates for electrical projects, including material take-offs, labor costs, and project budgets. Key Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates for electrical projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
Perform material take-offs from drawings, specifications, and other project documents.
Collaborate with senior estimators and project managers to ensure accuracy and completeness of estimates.
Review electrical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications to identify project requirements.
Conduct market research to obtain current pricing for materials, equipment, and services.
Maintain and update cost databases and estimating templates.
Support the preparation of bid proposals, including scope of work descriptions and cost breakdowns.
Attend project meetings and site visits as needed to gather additional information for estimates.
Ensure compliance with company standards, industry codes, and client requirements.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Experience: 0-2 years of experience in electrical estimation, project management, or a similar role (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
Technical Skills:
Basic knowledge of electrical systems, components, and construction practices.
Familiarity with electrical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and estimation software (e.g., PlanSwift, Bluebeam, or similar tools).
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and specifications.
Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a team environment.
Language: Fluent in English (written and spoken). Knowledge of Tamil/Hindi is an added advantage.
