We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ESG consultant with a strong background in decarbonization strategies.

Job description

• ESG Strategy Development:

• Collaborate with clients to assess their current ESG practices, benchmark their performance and undertake materiality assessments.
• Collaborate with the different departments, business and service lines in Egis to ensure compliance with Egis ESG strategy and goals.
• Proactively develop business cases, bids and proposals for ESG.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging ESG regulations and sustainable best practices.
• ESG Reporting and Compliance:

• Assist clients in preparing ESG reports and disclosures in line with global reporting frameworks.
• ESG Risk Assessments:

• Conduct ESG risk assessments and due diligence to identify potential environmental, social and governance risks associated with projects.
• Develop mitigation strategies and resilience plans.
• Decarbonisation Planning:

• Design and executive comprehensive decarbonization strategies tailored to each client\'s specific needs.
• Analyse carbon emissions data and create realistic reduction targets.
• Provide guidance on transitioning to low-carbon energy sources and technologies.

Profile

• A bachelor\'s degree in a related field (e.g. Environmental, Sustainability, Business Finance).
• 2+ years of professional experience in ESG consulting or a related field.
• Broad technical knowledge related to Science-based emissions pathways and carbon emissions data (including challenges and limitations).
• Demonstrable experience in corporate carbon reporting, analysis and interpretation of data sets.
• Documented experience in ESG frameworks and reporting standards.
• Relevant certifications for ESG reporting.
• Proficiency in data-analysis and strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Use of data visualization tools or similar experience in reporting of complex information to clients.
