Our newest opportunity is for a talented Senior Sustainability Specialist (ESG) to join our award-winning team based in our project in Kizad, Abu Dhabi UAE.

This position will oversee the portfolio\'s sustainability compliance with the Group\'s ESG, UAE and international requirements and governance.

Responsibilities

We envisage success in this role to include:
  • Reviewing of portfolio, programme, and project sustainability risk and identifying mitigation measures.
  • Establish and implement portfolio policies, procedures, and processes.
  • Develop and implement the portfolio\xe2\x80\x99s sustainability strategy that is linked back to corporate and government wide ESG goals and NetZero transition plan.
  • Reporting of sustainability performance across the portfolio to the Group and external bodies as required.
  • Develop and lead sustainability initiatives within the Group and collaborate with other stakeholders and parties.
  • Maintain a centre of technical excellence that is able to provide sustainable, innovative and cost-effective solutions that satisfies the commercial and user requirements.
  • Develop and specify decarbonised design solutions that address development needs, lower ESG risks, and explore greater sustainability-related opportunities at all stages of the investment cycle.
  • Lead the development of knowledge resources and tools aimed at decarbonizing the entire development cycle, from design through to construction and operations.
  • Develop opportunities to increase synergies within and amongst Client Group clusters through clean technology applications, low carbon, circular economy opportunities and other ESG related possibilities.
  • Collaborate with corporate teams to develop Clients Group ESG framework, NetZero transition plan, guidance on principles, commitments, and targets.
  • Lead collaborative initiatives with external stakeholders, including the public sector, NGOs and private sector, on environmental and sustainability initiatives, that link back to the company and emirate-wide sustainability goals.
Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include at least 10 years working in environmental or sustainability field with a Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Environmental Science or related field and having 5 years experience working in project delivery.
