Escalator Technician
to join our team.
Job Responsibilities:
Operate and control the movement of escalators in a safe and efficient manner
Conduct routine preventive maintenance and scheduled inspections to ensure escalators are in proper working condition
Identify and report any malfunctions, unusual behavior, or potential safety hazards
Maintain cleanliness and monitor the escalators in line with the maintenance schedule
Assist individuals needing help using the escalator (e.g., elderly, disabled, or those with strollers)
Communicate effectively with maintenance teams and escalate technical issues as needed
Follow all company safety procedures, operational guidelines, and policies
Provide courteous and professional customer service at all times
Job Requirements:
Prior experience in operating or maintaining escalators and knowledge of relevant safety protocols
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual maintenance tasks
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to remain calm and act quickly during emergency situations
High attention to detail and strong adherence to safety and operational procedures
Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts, weekends, or holidays as needed
