Short Description:

The ESB Senior Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting integration services using IBM technologies including ACE (IIB), API Connect, DataPower, and MQ. The role demands expertise in SOA principles and banking integration standards, alongside hands-on development in Java, ESQL, and database technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement core services using REST APIs, Web Services, and integration design patterns
Develop solutions aligned with SOA architecture and banking service standards (ISO8583, IFX, ISO20022, SWIFT)
Deliver technical services for multi-tier architecture and document HLD/LLD
Administer and develop IBM ESB tools: ACE (IIB v10/v11), API Connect, DataPower, ODM, MQ, and WSRR
Implement integration protocols: SFTP, TCP/IP, JMS, MQ, HTTPS, REST
Develop automation scripts (IIB/MQ) under Linux
Conduct unit testing using SOAP UI, Postman, LoadRunner, and create test documentation
Participate in SOA strategy, service analysis, and strengthening of SOA practices
Support UAT, "go-live," post-deployment, and DR drills
Maintain documentation and process ownership
Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements
Ensure compliance with internal standards, SLAs, and information security policies

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications:

5-7 years of SOA development experience, with at least 2-4 years in banking/financial institutions
Proficient in IBM ACE (IIB), MQ, API Connect, DataPower, and WSRR
Development experience in ESQL, Java, Oracle/MS SQL
Familiarity with SDLC, SGLC, and integration security/performance best practices
Strong knowledge of integration standards like ISO8583, SWIFT, and ISO20022
Skilled in preparing HLD, LLD, IARs, and test cases
Hands-on with Linux scripting, MQ scripting, and Dev/Test tools

Preferred Certifications:

IBM Certified Developer - Integration Bus v10
IBM Certified System Administrator - MQ v9.1
