Key Responsibilities:

Architect, design, and develop highly scalable and secure applications using

Node.js

and

Express

. Must have strong knowledge and experience in architecting application with security as primary focus Must have worked with large scale application design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance life cycle and collaborated with interdisciplinary teams within and outside the organization Lead the design and review of

security architecture

, threat models, and compliance measures across the application stack. Implement

Azure-based

cloud architectures leveraging services like Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Key Vault, Identity and Access Management, and more. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product Managers, DevOps, Security Teams) to drive technical decisions and best practices. Perform regular code reviews to ensure code quality, security, and maintainability. Continuously assess emerging security threats and design proactive solutions. Document system architectures, workflows, and security controls.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

5+ years

professional experience in

Node.js

development with strong backend design expertise using

Express.js

. Proven expertise in

Enterprise Application Architecture

and

Design Patterns

. Solid hands-on experience with

Microsoft Azure Services

and building

cloud-native applications

. Strong understanding and implementation of

application security principles

, including OAuth, OpenID Connect, RBAC, Key Management, Encryption, Threat Modeling, and OWASP standards. Experience with designing APIs (RESTful, GraphQL) with security-first principles. Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. Strong knowledge of database design (SQL and NoSQL). Excellent problem-solving, architectural thinking, and communication skills.

Nice to Have (Optional but Preferred):

). Experience with Microservices and Event-Driven Architectures. Knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture and Identity Federation models. Previous experience in FinTech, HealthTech, or other highly regulated industries.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Contract

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
