: Erectors

Position Summary:

The Erector is responsible for assembling, positioning, aligning, and securing structural components at construction sites. This includes working with steel, precast concrete, or other prefabricated elements to ensure accurate installation in compliance with project specifications and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble and install structural components such as beams, columns, trusses, and frameworks. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work specifications. Operate cranes, hoists, and other lifting equipment for positioning components. Align, bolt, weld, or rivet components to ensure proper fit and stability. Inspect and verify the accuracy of installed structures using measuring tools and levels. Follow safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Collaborate with site supervisors, engineers, and other team members to meet project deadlines. Perform routine maintenance of tools and equipment used in the erection process.

Qualifications & Skills:

Proven experience in structural erection (steel or precast preferred). Knowledge of construction safety standards and procedures. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and lifting equipment. Physical fitness and ability to work at heights. Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Education & Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification preferred). Minimum 2-3 years of experience in structural assembly and erection.
